Scope

A global cloud transformation program migrating IT infrastructure and business-critical applications from three on-premise data centers (Amsterdam, Singapore, Atlanta) to Microsoft Azure.  The goal  aimed to transition a fragmented legacy landscape into a scalable, governed, and future-ready cloud operating model, forming the foundation for data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled capabilities.

Challenges & Approach

The transformation took place within a highly complex and politically sensitive international environment, There was a strong dependency on legacy systems, limiting flexibility and slowing down change. At the same time. This was further compounded by strict compliance, security, and continuity requirements, increasing the need for a controlled and well-governed transformation approach.

The organization transitioned from a fragmented, regionally driven IT landscape to a globally aligned, scalable and controlled cloud operating model:
